XP, coins, the streak, the daily goal and the Shop

In Plusy a finished round pays coins and XP, a day with a finished round adds to the streak, and right answers fill the daily goal. Coins buy one thing, a streak freeze. None of them opens content or buys hearts.

How does my child earn coins?

Your child earns coins in Plusy by finishing rounds. Every finished round pays the same amount, whatever the score: a level on the road, a round from the Games tab, a list round, a speed run or a practice set. Passing a world's test for the first time pays a larger bonus, with a trophy on the road.

The first list you ever save in My lists also pays a one-time bonus. The end of each round shows what was earned.

Coins are earned by playing only. They cannot be bought with money, and they never buy hearts.

What can coins buy?

Coins buy one thing in Plusy: a streak freeze. There is nothing to collect and nothing else for sale with coins. The Shop tab shows the price in coins, and when your child is short it shows how many more are needed.

How does the streak work?

The streak in Plusy counts the days in a row on which your child finished at least one round. Any finished round counts: a level on the road, a replay, a test, a Games round, a list round, a speed run or a practice set. Matching by itself does not count.

The streak is shown with the daily goal, along with the days of the week. If a day is missed with no streak freeze held, the streak starts again at one the next time your child plays.

What is a streak freeze and how do we use it?

A streak freeze keeps the streak safe when your child misses one day. It is bought with coins in the Shop and held until it is needed. It is used by itself: after exactly one missed day, the next finished round uses the freeze and the streak carries on as if that day had been played.

1

Open the Shop tab

Find Streak freeze: Keeps your streak safe if you miss one day.

2

Buy it with coins

Plusy asks once before spending. Confirm, or tap Not now.

3

Leave it there

The Shop shows You have one. There is nothing to switch on when a day is missed.

One streak freeze can be held at a time, and it covers one missed day. Two or more missed days in a row reset the streak even with a freeze.

What is the daily goal?

The daily goal in Plusy is Answer 20 facts today. Every right answer counts toward it, in any kind of round, and it starts fresh each day. When it is met the card shows Done! Goal met and invites your child back tomorrow for a new goal.

Meeting the goal pays no coins. It is a marker of a good day's practice, not a prize. A round from one of your own lists counts a few answers toward it rather than all of them.

What is XP for?

XP in Plusy is a score, and only that. Each finished round adds XP, and the amount is shown at the end of the round beside the coins. XP opens no levels, ranks or rewards, and nothing can be bought with it.

What is in the Shop?

The Shop in Plusy holds two things: the streak freeze, bought with coins, and Unlock Plusy, bought with money by a grown-up. Unlock Plusy is $29, one payment with no subscription. It removes the heart limit and gives up to 50 worksheet scans and 50 AI lists a month.

The unlock opens no extra content, because every road, world and game is already free. See unlocking Plusy and what hearts are.

Questions

Can my child buy hearts with coins?

No. Coins never buy hearts, and hearts are not for sale in any form. Hearts come back on their own over time and with a new day, and Unlock Plusy removes the limit for good.

Can my child spend real money in the Shop by accident?

Coins are not real money and cannot be bought. The only purchase with money is Unlock Plusy, which goes through a checkout that needs a grown-up's payment details. There are no coin packs or small purchases.

We missed a day and the streak is gone. Can it be restored?

A streak freeze has to be held before the missed day, and it covers one day only. Without one, the streak starts again from one. Coins, progress on the roads and everything else are unaffected.

Does a wrong answer lose coins or XP?

No. A finished round pays the same whatever the score, and nothing is ever taken away. Wrong answers do not count toward the daily goal, which counts right answers.
