1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Plusy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you set the Service up for a child, you accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Description of Service

Plusy is a web application that helps children practise times tables through short rounds of questions and a road of levels. The Service is free to use today. Free play is limited by hearts, which come back over time.

3. Accounts and eligibility

An account is created by a parent or guardian, using Google Sign-In or an email address and password. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
You must be an adult, and you must meet Google's requirements to hold the Google account used to sign in.
Plusy is designed for children aged 6 to 12 to use under the supervision of the parent or guardian who holds the account, and who is responsible for that use.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful or abusive purpose;
Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

5. A learning aid

Plusy is a practice tool. It is not a substitute for teaching, or for professional or educational judgment.

6. Plans and purchases

There is nothing to buy in Plusy today. If a paid option is offered later, its price, what it includes and the refund terms will be stated in these Terms and shown before any purchase can be made. We may change how free play is limited at any time.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Plusy name, logo, characters, software and design, is owned by Importify Limited and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written permission.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Google (sign-in), Supabase (authentication and database) and Railway (hosting). Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Importify Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, if you paid nothing, a nominal amount).

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be subject to the courts of Hong Kong.
